Monsta Guard PPF carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against film defects. As an authorised installer, you are also responsible for offering your own workmanship warranty to your customers — industry standard is 12 months.

Monsta Guard PPF manufacturer warranty

Monsta Guard PPF is backed by a 10-year manufacturer warranty against material defects. This warranty covers the film itself and is honoured by Monsta Wraps directly — not through the portal. Claims are assessed by Monsta Wraps; contact us to initiate the process.

What's covered

  • ✓Yellowing or discolouration
  • ✓Cracking or crazing of the film
  • ✓Delamination (peeling away from the paint)
  • ✓Bubbling under normal use conditions

What's not covered

  • ✕Damage caused by abrasive polishes, automated brush-style car washes, or improper care
  • ✕Pre-existing paint defects present before installation
  • ✕Physical damage from impacts that exceed the film's protection capability (e.g. deep cuts)
  • ✕Damage caused by chemical contamination not covered under normal use

Installer Workmanship Warranty

Your responsibility as an authorised installer

As an authorised Monsta Wraps installer you are responsible for offering your own workmanship warranty to end customers. Industry standard is 12 months from the install date. The guidance below outlines what a workmanship warranty should and should not cover — you may adapt this for your own customer documentation.

Typically covered

  • ✓Edge lifting or peeling caused by installation technique
  • ✓Air bubbles or contamination present at the time of installation

Typically excluded

  • ✕Stone chips or road debris impact — that's exactly what the PPF is there for
  • ✕Edges disturbed by third-party repairs, resprays, or bodywork modifications
  • ✕Damage resulting from improper aftercare within the first 72 hours post-install

Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The warranties above are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Care Tips to Protect the Warranty

Share these with your customers at handover to protect both their warranty and your workmanship guarantee.

  • •Wait at least 48–72 hours after installation before washing.
  • •Use a pH-neutral car shampoo and a soft microfibre mitt — avoid brush-style automated car washes.
  • •Keep bird droppings, tree sap, and fuel spills off the film as promptly as possible.
  • •Never use abrasive compounds or cutting polishes directly on the film.
  • •The self-healing surface activates with heat — a warm sunny day or warm water rinse will clear light swirl marks.
